Individuals and grassroots organizations throughout the state of Pennsylvania
are voicing their support for permanent state funding for water, land
and wildlife conservation through expansion of the state's Growing Greener
program. Growing Greener has led to a wide variety of successes, including
watershed restoration, reduction of pollution in our rivers and streams;
and habitat protections for fish and wildlife throughout the state.
This excellent program is set to expire in June 2004. Don't let that
happen! Show your support for permanent state conservation funding by
signing on to the resolution
that you can access via this
link. Please print out the form and return to the Pennsylvania Organization
for Watersheds and Rivers as quickly as possible.
Pennsylvania Organization for Watersheds and Rivers (POWR) or via fax to (717) 234-7929 If
you have trouble printing the resolution, save it as a text file, then
print it from your word processing program. To talk to someone about the resolution, call Timothy Schaeffer at
POWR at (717) 234-7910 or email tschaeffer@pawatersheds.org.
