Lancaster Group Sierrans participating
in the Millersville Community Parade

The Lancaster Group is the newest group of the Sierra Club's Pennsylvania Chapter and is committed to supporting all issues and programs related to improving and enhancing the environment, through educational outreach and other activities.

Lancaster Group Member Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on five Wednesdays during the year in Room 111 of Lancaster Country Day School, 725 Hamilton Road, Lancaster, PA (unless otherwise noted). Members and non-members of the Sierra Club are welcome. Meetings in 2015 are scheduled for March 18 and May 20.

Wednesday, March 18, 2015 - 6:30 PM

With the approach of spring and its seasonal awakenings, it's time to firm up our plans for warm weather activities and discuss programming proposals for the future. Everyone is welcome to participate in this meeting, which will be followed by a segment of the film, Botany of Desire. We'll gather in Lancaster Country Day School, 725 Hamilton Road, Lancaster.

Super Saturday at Franklin & Marshall College

Saturday, March 21, 2015 - 9 AM to Noon

Members of our Lancaster Group will be participating in this event that features workshops for gifted children. Wildflower Hike

Lancaster Native Plant and Wildlife Festival

Saturday, April 25, 2015 - 9 AM to 1 PM

We hope you can visit our engaging booth at this event, which draws a variety of environmental organizations, nurseries and community members selling native plants, and people with live animal exhibitions. Earth Day Festival at Sahd Metal Recycling

Sierra Club - Lancaster Group Member Meeting

We'll be discussing our late spring and early summer activities during this gathering and, with your help, possibly generating some new projects.
