Welcome

The Lancaster Group is the newest group of the Sierra Club's Pennsylvania Chapter and is committed to supporting all issues and programs related to improving and enhancing the environment, through educational outreach and other activities. Its primary focus, however, is Lancaster County’s air quality, which ranks high on a list of regions with the most polluted air in the nation; consequently, many of the Group’s activities center on this environmental and public health problem.

Monthly group meetings begin at 6:15 PM, end at 7:15 PM and are open to both members and non-members of the Sierra Club. Meetings are held in room 111 of Lancaster County Day School, 725 Hamilton Road, Lancaster, PA.

Please join us after the group meetings for our Guest Speaker Series. These free presentations begin at 7:30 PM and are open to the public.  Please see our Events page for additonal information about our guest speakers. Maple Leaf
