Member Outing & Retreat

You're invited to take part in our annual member outing and retreat July 13-15th at Ohiopyle State Park with the Sierra Club Pennsylvania Chapter in Fayette County!

We welcome your family and friends to enjoy the activities and meet Sierra Club members from around Pennsylvania.

Ohiopyle is Pennsylvania's largest state park, with 20,500 acres of natural beauty. Passing through the heart of the park is the Youghiogheny River Gorge. The "Yough" [yawk] provides some of the best whitewater boating in the eastern United States, as well as spectacular scenery.

Ohiopyle is also close to outstanding cultural and historical attractions. It's only 4.5 miles to Fallingwater, the iconic home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, America's most famous architect, and 3 miles to Kentuck Knob, another Frank Lloyd Wright home with a beautiful sculpture garden. Fort Necessity National Battlefield is only 8 miles away! Click here to RSVP today!

We welcome your family and friends to enjoy the activities and meet Sierra Club members from around Pennsylvania. There will be a wide variety of fun activities and unique opportunities.

This annual retreat is for all of our chapter members and their friends and families. If you aren't a Sierra Club member yet, you can sign up anytime before the outing and still be eligible. You can sign up now for just $15. Click this link to become a member!

We have reserved the tenting space and arranged several hikes and outings, as well as a potluck and BBQ dinner with free burgers and hot dogs provided by the Chapter. We hope you can make it!
