These photos are from the GreenPeace
Mercury Hair Sampling that was held June 14th, 2004. The event was
held at Capital Cuts Hair Salon, across from the Capital in Harrisburg.
Speakers, including several representatives and local experts, presented
information on effects of mercury, especially in women and children
who are advised to limit fish consumption.

Growing Greener II Rally held on June
22, 2004 at the State Capitol. Hundreds of supporters of Growing
Greener II showed their support chanting "Let Us Vote"
for Growing Greener II to the Pennsylvania General Assembly.

The Longwall Mining Press Conference
was held at the State Capital June 15th, 2004. A bus with concerned
citizens, Tri-State Citizen Mining Network representatives and Mountain
Water Association representatives arrived to voice their concerns
and share personal experiences with State Representatives.
