Activities

The Executive Committee meetings are held in various locations around the state. Check with your local delegate or the Chapter office for the location of the next meeting. All chapter members are welcome.

Chapter Meetings for 2007:

• January 13, Saturday
• March 10-11, Saturday and Sunday
• May 19, Saturday
• July 14-15, Saturday and Sunday - Annual Chapter Outing
• September 8-9, Saturday and Sunday
• November 10, Saturday

There are numerous activities across the State, and more are added all the time. Click on the links on this page for details, or click here to go to the calendar.

All participants on Sierra Club outings are required to sign a standard liability waiver. If you would like to read the liability waiver before you chose to participate on an outing, please go to individual liability waiver. Outing leaders, please download, print out, and have all participants sign the sign-in waiver sheet. We also suggest you print out and bring extra copies of the individual liability waiver sheets. The individual liability waiver covers all events, so once an individual has signed this waiver, they do not need to sign it again for other outings.

Group activities are held throughout the state. You are welcome to participate in activities sponsored by any group!

• Allegheny Group activities include backpacking, hiking, caving and biking.
  
• Bucks Group activities include monthly meetings at the Doylestown Library.
  
• Headwaters Group members are encouraged to join outings from neighboring groups.
  
• Kittatinny Group activities include hikes and lectures.
  
• Contact the Lake Erie Group to find out what activities are planned.
  
• Lehigh Valley Group activities include hikes throughout the spring and summer.
  
• Moshannon Group will be sponsoring hikes, presentations, and bike rides.
  
• Northeastern Group activities include hikes, meetings, and service outings.
  
• Otzinachson Group activities include numerous hikes and bike rides.
  
• Southeastern Pennsylvania Group activities provide opportunities for service at parks in and around Philadelphia, as wells as several hikes and walks..
