All participants on Sierra Club outings are required
to sign a standard liability waiver. If you would like to read
the liability waiver before you chose to participate on an outing,
please go to individual liability
waiver. Outing leaders, please download, print out,
and have all participants sign the sign-in
waiver sheet. We also suggest you print out and bring extra
copies of the individual liability
waiver sheets. The individual liability waiver covers all
events, so once an individual has signed this waiver, they do
not need to sign it again for other outings.

Hills of the Pine Barrens Tour
8:00 a.m. until dinner (all day tour)
The Hills of the Pine Barrens preregistration required (limit
of 12 participants). The outwash from retreating glaciers thousands
of years ago left several remote ridges and hills in the generally
flat New Jersey Pine Barrens. Join Bob Thomas for a rare chance
to locate and climb several of these hills and enjoy views of
unbroken pine and cedar forest. We’ll learn about historic
villages and uses of the area, and conclude our walk with an
optional dinner at a local restaurant along the Mullica River.
Trip fee ($25 for members of Sierra Club and numerous other
environmental groups, $30 for others) includes full hiker’s
breakfast but not lunch or dinner; transportation will be via
car pools—participants are asked to share expenses. Information
and reservations: Friends of Philadelphia Parks, 215-879-8159.

Mill Road, go three-quarters of a mile to a stop sign and a
blue sign saying Delaware County Historical Society/Greenbank
Farm. Do not turn left but go straight ahead into Greenbank
Farm, follow driveway one-quarter mile past an old stone house
and a speed bump to two small white houses at the end. Contact
